Cookie & Tracking Policy
Live play assist uses small tracking tokens and local storage to make the site reliable and give you a better experience. Below we explain what we set, why, how long they last and how you can control them.
Cookie categories and examples
- Essential / Functional: session tokens, preference flags (keeps you signed in or remembers UI choices). These are required for the site to work.
- Analytics: anonymous usage data to measure feature adoption and page performance. Example: an anonymous session identifier for retention metrics.
- Performance / Crash reporting: short-lived identifiers used by third-party error reporting tools.
- Optional / Marketing: we do not set advertising cookies on the free tier; marketing cookies are only used with explicit consent.
Typical lifetimes
- Session cookies: cleared when the browser is closed.
- Persistent cookies (preferences): up to 12 months.
- Analytics identifiers: anonymised and retained for up to 24 months.
